It’s potentially my last weekend as a non-parent, thank goodness there are a lot of events going on this weekend to make it good. Now it’s choosing one (or more).

Several local chefs like Eugenia Theodosopoulos (of Essence Bakery), Tammie Coe (Tammie Coe Bakery) and Charlie Blonkenfeld (of now defunct Chaka Chaka) are making caramels for you to enjoy and judge. Arrive early for this tooth-sticking extravaganza — last year the line wrapped around the parking lot.
