What’s Cracking Good — Sea Salt Caramel Chocolates

I tried Sea Salt Caramel Chocolates last year at a friend’s house and promptly consumed about half her box of candies.

I went to Trader Joe’s to obtain my own stash, and they had maybe 8 boxes left. “That’s it for the season,” a salesperson told me. I grabbed them all and never looked back.

I gave them to some friends, family, as hostess gifts.

This year, they’re back for $4.99 a box. Get there before I do.

Pretty, pretty daffodils

Daffodils are on sale at Trader Joe’s for $1.49 a bunch. I got THREE yesterday — and they’re already pretty.

What’s Cracking Good — Tomatoes from the vine

My husband and I went to Trader Joe’s today to stock our bare cupboards and found these full-grown tomato plants loaded with fruit…for $4.29.

I have already counted 13 small tomatoes on my plant, and I haven’t even unwrapped it yet!

I’m hoping the already-developed fruit ups my chances of actually having a harvest this year.
